Meet A World of Keflings Devs Tonight on PlayXBLA Monday

New Candy for Keflings Screenshots Released

June 18, 2012 – Fans of indie developer NinjaBee’s popular city-building sim A World of Keflings are in for a sweet surprise if they log on to Xbox Live for tonight’s PlayXBLA Monday event. Tonight’s special ‘game with the devs’ edition of Microsoft Studios’ weekly PlayXBLA Monday event will not only give fans a chance to meet and game with the creators of the Keflings games, but the opportunity to learn new, unannounced details of the game’s upcoming candy-themed DLC.

“Come play and ask us anything,” said Brent Fox, Art Director at NinjaBee. “We won’t hold back on the details. And we might just drop a clue or two to what’s next for Keflings after the candy DLC gets released.”

Build

Don’t be late though, tonight’s A World of Keflings themed PlayXBLA Monday event lasts only one hour, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. PST. The developers will be hosting and visiting public multiplayer games on Xbox Live. For more details, including a list of developer gamertags visit PlayXBLA.com later this afternoon.
In anticipation for tonight’s event, NinjaBee has released a new batch of screenshots featuring new characters and highlighting details from the candy kingdom that have not yet been revealed.

CarryFrostingThe candy kingdom was originally chosen by fans to be the game’s next DLC as a part of a contest held earlier this year on PlayXBLA.com. The grand prize winner has been ‘Kefling-ized’ and will appear as a major Kefling character in the new DLC. The candy DLC will be second game add-on released by NinjaBee for A World of Keflings. The first, titled It Came from Outer Space, features an Area-51-esque kingdom where players get to build an alien kingdom and repair an alien spaceship.
