The OMG! Hour: Episode 41

The One Where it all Starts Again

» Some big announcement happened this week and we talk about it all.  In fact, there was so much to talk about this week, that we only got through half of it.  The big Sony PS4 announcement takes center stage this week and we will follow up with it again next week.  Something this big deserves more than one episode.

  1. After your, ahem, pie-in-the-sky contemplation of what Bungie might be planning to offer with Destiny — hehe — I was pleasantly surprised by the skeptical segment where you brought up all the broken promises of the PS3 launch before talking about the PS4 announcement. That’s some good work, boys!

I didn’t pay a lot of attention at the time of the PS3 launch, and a lot of that was news to me. I had only really heard about the pre-rendered game footage… and frankly, I’m still not clear about whether the awesome PS4 “Deep Down” footage was actually real-time? (The icons in the corner aren’t very convincing.)
