The OMG! Hour: Episode 73

The One with the Driving

This week’s The OMG! Hour finds Sean and Jeff taking up the full hour with some great discussions even though it was a very light week in regards to video gaming news.  We have a follow up to our Kinect discussion from last week as we talk about how Dead Rising 3 will utilize Kinect and SmartGlass.  Ken Levine has something he’s working on; MadCatz releases another Android based gaming console into the world, and GTA V breaks some world records.  Some of the news this week makes Sean and Jeff very sad parents: Activision licenses the Call of Duty franchise to Mega Bloks, to be marketed to children. After we vent our frustrations over this, Sean talks about his experience at an Xbox One event this week where he had hands on the controller, Killer Instinct and Forza 5.

Our apologies for the audio issues we had this week. We record our own audio separately and Jeff uploads his files to me for final editing. This week, some of Jeff’s audio files were missing or corrupt but I think I managed to edit the show so you don’t notice it much at all. There are only a couple spots in which I chime in to fill in Jeff’s missing audio.  One audio screw-up in 73 episodes isn’t that bad if I do say so myself!  Enjoy!
