The OMG! Hour: Episode 101

The One with the Racing Games

After a very fun epic 100th episode we return to the mundane of regularly numbered episodes.  Well, okay, maybe it’s not so mundane.  This week we discuss our thoughts on the recently released Child of Light from Ubisoft and a whole slew of new racing games ready to come out this year: Sony’s Driveclub, Project Cars, and The Crew.  It’s going to be a great year for racing fans.  Other news this week includes 12 newly announced indie games for Sony’s platforms, Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Superheroes, and a new Call of Duty from Sledgehammer Games.  E.T. was finally dug up in a very public project but we weigh in on our thoughts on this whole thing and on Microsoft’s plan to use this dig as one of their many new Television offerings on their platforms.

Sean had an idea for a new weekly game segment but, thanks to the ever improving internet services, it doesn’t quite work out as he had hoped. If you have an idea for a new game segment for us, send the idea to theomghour@gmail.com and we’ll pick the one we like best and award that listener with….something. Hopefully.
