Episode 230: The One with Stolen Black Friday

Here in Canada we decided that Boxing Day (the day after Christmas) wasn’t enough so we stole Black Friday from the US. Now we get two days to get stuff on massive sales. With this week giving us big savings on many games, we all indulged and picked up a few games we’ve been waiting for. Our games discussion continues with more Watch Dogs 2, Overwatch, and Dishonored 2. As always Tycko pressed more buttons and brings us Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, more Lego Dimensions packs, Livelock, and Headlander.

In the news this week, we discuss the categories for The Game Awards and what we hope the show is and isn’t this year. News from Ubisoft including free DLC plans and a new direction for gaming in general. Todd Howard talks about the Nintendo Switch, and all the games for Games with Gold in December.
