Episode 245: The One with the Simulations

Snake Pass / This is the Police! / Punch Club

In a world of greats such as Mass Effect Andromeda and Horizon Zero Dawn, we find ourselves wondering who will play all the other, smaller, unknown games out there. Enter Tycko aka MrSecondPlace, who puts aside all his wants and desires just for you! He takes on the games you won’t so that…..uh….we’re still not really sure why, actually. Probably for the achievements. Yeah, that’s probably it.

This week’s new games include Snake Pass from Sumo Digital, Punch Club from tinyBuild Games, and This is the Police! from THQ Nordiq. In other games, after many hours of Mass Effect Andromeda, Sean covers a few of his gripes in the game such as the crafting system, character dialogs, and the useless Journal.

In the news this week, we discuss how video games can protect mental health and avert trauma and addiction; more sales number for the Nintendo Switch compared to other systems in their first weeks of life; and the PlayStation Plus games for April 2017.
