Episode 253: The One with the VR Arcade

It’s another week without Tycko but Sean and Jeff have enough experience to get on without him. But it’s also another week of little gaming on Jeff’s side of things so Sean steals the show with games he played. Horizon Zero Dawn returns and Sean gushes over it yet again. We also take a look at two new releases, The Surge and RiME. One we like, one we don’t.

Our discussion also turns to VR once again with Sean’s visit to a local VR Arcade, CTRL-V and new of Samsung working on tiny 4K displays. The future of VR is exciting!

On other news, Microsoft’s GamePass is ready for public consumption on June 1st but is it enough to entice people to subscribe? Does the Netflix model work for games? Microsoft’s Games with Gold for June are discussed as well as the renaming of their Beam service to Mixer and whether that service is even needed amongst Twitch and YouTube Gaming.
