Episode 262: The One with Just the Two of Us

It’s just Sean and Tycko this week as Jeff takes the month of August off. We’ve got new game reviews for you for VR games Archangel and Dino Frontier. We also finally get to review one of our most anticipated games from PAX East, Shadow Tactics. Will it live up to our expectations? We let you know. We also discuss Elder Scrolls Legends now that it’s hit iOS.

In the news we discuss such topics as micro-transactions in single player games, eSports as an Olympic Medal Event, Hellblade’s unique death mechanic, and the improvements made to the year old game, No Man’s Sky.

Lost Treasures returns this week with “King of Chicago”, release in 1987 on the Amiga and other platforms. Lost Treasures is written and narrated by Syd Bolton, owner of Canada’s largest video game collection.

*DISCLAIMER: Archangel, Dino Frontier, and Shadow Tactics were reviewed using download codes provided by their respective developer/publisher.
